with a silver metal head escutcheon
with a loop shank surrounded by black pitch.

each with a metal loop shank surrounded by black pitch.

Sorry, this has been sold.
This is a beautiful Victorian white glass button
with coralene beads on top in a floral pattern.
Has a 4-way box shank.
Note that some of the beads are missing
and there is a tiny hairline crack on back
that does not go all of the way through the button.

Imitation Fabric Flowers!

This is a lovely black Imitation Fabric button!
The center of this button is pressed or molded white glass
that has been painted to a imitate black glass fabric flower design.
It is surrounded by a faceted paste border.
Has a thick loop shank. Back finish shows a little wear.
The craftsmanship of this inlay is extraordinary!

Blue Precision Inlay

This is a very unusual blue glass precision inlay button!
It has a black glass flat top which houses the inlay
which curves down in a gold luster rimmed border
with an older self shank. Has some surface scratches.
A precision inlay is a foil-backed glass piece made separately,
and then inserted into the glass button,
in the same manner as tiles.
The craftsmanship of this inlay is extraordinary!

with most of the paint still there and a 4-way box shank.

Black Glass
Oval Bee

This is a very interesting oval black glass insect button!
It looks like an Art Deco-styled design of a Moth or a Bee
with beautiful gold luster accenting the body and wings.
It has a silver metal loop shank embedded in a tall cone
of glass accommodated by the convex back of the button.
Similar pieces were made as hat pin tops.
1 3/8" X 1 3/4".

Glass Realistic
Dice
Sorry, this has been sold.
A resplendent glass dice button with green rhinestones.
Not only is it 3-dimensional but it has a magnified cube effect
because of it's painted mercury gold back and self shank.
This is a great glass realistic!
